We have went here the past 2 years during our Christmas/New Year break. Both times have been a good experience. The Hibachi chefs have been great and very entertaining. I will say when we went this year the portions did seem smaller. The sushi rolls were thinner and the chicken did end up a little dry. Hopefully it was just an off night because the family loves the place and we plan on coming back next year.
We were visiting during a busy holiday week, but we wanted sushi and sat at the bar. Sushi master Sunny is an artist and personable, so I’m extra glad we sat here!! The green dragon, dragon, and Philadelphia rolls were delicious, and the hamachi and unagi were perfect!
Had 3 sushi rolls and they were bomb! Service was great and will definitely be a regular.
One of the worst sushi restaurants I have ever been to. The quality of food is so low. So overly salted and this is definitely not an authentic Japanese restaurant. The rice was even dry like it had been left out and microwaved . Everyone at my table, which included 4 of us, were shocked at the terrible food. It was something you would expect from a cheap Chinese buffet except worse. I actually refused to eat the rest of my dish because it was so bad. The service really emphasized the dreary atmosphere. The waiter seemed distracted and jaded. Our party was treated like an annoyance. One of the other party members wouldn’t eat their dish either, but didn’t say anything to the waiter, afraid of making an awkward situation. Prices are ridiculous for the quality.
This place is awful. Seriously bad.
1. The lighting is so dim in the place you have to squint at everything. It feels like they are trying to save on electricity. …

If you like going to dinner with friends and family this is definitely the place. The hibachi is fun and interactive. The food is great!
Wife had shrimp and scallop combo, I had filet mignon and chicken combo. Filet melts in your mouth, chicken pieces smallish, so not so tender. Both in a light, not heavy, brown liquid. White rice on the side. Zucchini, onion and mushrooms in …
We went here for dinner on a Sunday as many places are closed in Mesquite. We were seated right away and shared a table with some very friendly people. …
